MY approach
do you capture candids or tell us how to pose?
I do both! In my opinion, not every authentic, candid emotion is something you'll want captured on camera. Anxiety on your wedding day? You won't want that in your gallery. So my approach is capture authentically the candid moments that happen and then collaborate with my couples to create beautiful images they'll love (posing, direction, changing scenery, etc.).
can you work with couples who feel awkward on camera?
Absolutely! My job before we ever even get a camera in front of you is to learn about you guys. I take time to talk through questions or concerns they may have regarding photography and I make a game plan to get couples comfy and feeling cute during their session.
My photography style is three-fold. Firstly, I am capture authentic candids of my couples (literally stalking you guys and grabbing shots when you don't even see me), secondly I do movement-based prompts, and thirdly I give guided posing instruction. My posing tends to be more artistic with an editorial flare. I also LOVE direct flash!

My approach to working with engaged couples is very hands on. It's very important to me to provide guidance and education to my couples throughout the wedding planning process so they never feel lost. Communication and organization are VERY important to me, and I have a very specific process for planning for a wedding day with my couples.
What does working with you generally look like?

discovery call
Our first meeting is called a Discovery Call. This is usually done via FaceTime or Zoom and it's a time for me to introduce myself, hear your story, and go over some logistical information about what working with me looks like.
booking
If we both think we're a good fit together, we can make things official! I'll send over a contract and an invoice. Once your contract is signed and deposit is paid, we're officially a team!
planning
After we're official, I send you over several questionnaires to help get the planning started. We'll have two more consultations after that to plan logistics together and I will also create a suggested photography timeline for you.
wedding day
Time to get you married! I'll show up with my cameras (duh) and we'll have the best time! Get ready to watch me embarrass myself on your dance floor.
Fill out an inquiry form and send me over the details! If I'm available for your wedding date, I'll get back to you within 12-24hrs about next steps.

When I get home I backup your photos and begin culling and editing. Within 4-6 weeks you'll receive you final gallery via a digital online platform called Pic-Time!

Hallie did such an amazing job as my wedding photographer, I couldn't be happier! She was one of the vendors that really seemed to care about what I pictured for my wedding day. Her communication skills are great, I felt like I could ask questions and she was great about replying in a timely manner. She also helped with any timeline issues I had and communicated with my other vendors to coordinate details. She was such a thoughtful photographer, always making sure we were comfortable and that we got what we wanted on our special day.
